Don’t you love watching other lose all their money at the slots and table games?

Posted on 1820 November 2009 by admin in table games

In a casino, I love watching people hit little tuny babay-sized "Sizzling 7s" Progressive quarter machine jackpots of $250 to around $300 and then they p#ss it all back at that same machine for another hour after they get their jackpot money.

I also love it when someone at craps or backjack suddenly bets a lot of chips on bet and BOOM!!, they lose that bet and suddenly they’re broke. I get a kick out of that.

What do you think of them when they foolishgly lose their money like like? I love it and take total pleasure in seeing it.

wow.you’re not very supportive of your fellow gamblers….

In a casino, why is the hold percentage higher for the graveyard shift for table games?

Posted on 821 November 2009 by admin in table games

Why does the table games graveyard shift consistently have a higher hold percentage than the other two shifts?

this is a good question. the graveyard shift is often playing against players who have won during the night shift. they are playing against their own money, not buy ins. therefore, any wins against players with no buy in are $win/$0. buy ins during graveyard are generally minimal, thus creating a high hold percentage.

another reason, not as significant, is that graveyard gamblers have nowhere else to go. therefore they stay longer and have a greater tendency to lose all their money, whereas a daytime player has an easier time to get up and go to a show, restaurant, gym, etc.

last possible reason is that graveyard gamblers tend to be more "hardcore". that is, addicted. and therefore tend to have longer gambling sessions and lose more often

MGM Foxwoods – What should I expect the minimum betting limits to be for table games on a Saturday night?

Posted on 231 October 2009 by admin in table games

Thanks.

Limits are always high there. $15 for blackjack, and they’re very crowded at busy times.

Can someone give me the low down on table top war games and the effects on the brain?

Posted on 2530 September 2009 by admin in table games

I know that t.v. rots your brain, I know that too much video games can also rot your brain (i think anyways) but i also i know that things like chess and checkers are actually good for your brain (i think anyways)…

but what about table top hobby games like warhammer 40k?….

healthy? Unhealthy? i really wanna play but not if it’s a waist of time.

Play. It’s more inline with chess than video games. It involves a lot of strategizing, planning ahead and math.

You’ll like 40k. It’s fun.

EDIT: BTW, what army are you thinking of playing?
