i’m visually chanllenged. is there was to enlarge the text and pictures in games…..such as mah jong?

I would like to play mah jong solitaire, but cannot see the tiles well. I’ve tried maximized the screen, but that does not help to enlarge the figures, tiles or game board. Could someone please help? Thank you.

if you are playing in windows xp or vista in the control panel there should be controls for magnifiers for the screen so it magnifes what you mouse over im not sure if it will help on mah jong

if you ask at a computer shop or a office supply they may have a screen you can place in front of the moniter to magnify the whole screen

Where can I buy a Black Mah Jong Tile Set?

I am looking for a 144 tile Chinese set that is in black with the numbers on the corners.

I have found American sets that has 166 tiles, but they are twice the price and come with useless items i never use to play.

how to change my english username to a chinese username in yahoo mah jong?

i want to change my username when i play mahjong. i see people with chinese usernames. how do i change mine?? PLEASE HELP!

Take your username and put it in a translator take the Chinese result and paste it into your username space on Yahoo!

I would buy from a local store, most toy places would sell a Chinese Mah Jong set and that has everything you would need to play Japanese Mah Jong (Riichi/ Reach Mah Jong). There are no differences between the tiles except the Chinese set has more tiles you just remove during a Japanese game, you will also have a Chinese set if you every want to play that version.

Most board game shows have a set and even some more old fashion toy stores sell them as well.

http://www.hinkyimport.com/mah-jong-sets.html sells two sets a bamboo backed set and a plastic backed set, from personal experience the plastic sets age better, feel nicer and look more professional.
